Time for a selfish PSA- About 6 years ago very dear friend mine took his own life this time year-this morning was in contact w/somebody going thru the same brutal heartache- know it could happen any time of year but this is the season we are force fed the illusion of mass happiness- many of us lost loved ones and its all that much more poignant and isolating. Loss is always enormous but suicide leaves a three sided wound and -got keep extra eye on ourselves & each other- self care -not time too go off regiments or meds etc- dont get high alone if thats what you do -aint judging - saw my freind a few days before and he seemed fine, had everything going for him etc- guess it seemed like the only solution at the time- but it would have passed , it had before, theres no blame, no shame, and it could be anyone of us- Theres a lot going environmental and environment that can throw off brain chemistry - saying this as I said for totally selfish reasons- cause as the poem sez no man is an Island - we are all diminished & think we - planet an its people are reaching critical mass- maybe we got a chance to get this mess right -you are loved
