We did not give up, appealed the decision (which took over 100 hours of research and writing and had many, MANY pages of studies to back up the necessity for it, and WON. We now provide this appeal (redacted) and all supporting documentation to anyone who has been denied. It won’t help if it is an item that is outright excluded in a policy, but has helped some people. We could go on and on about how this chair has improved Alex’s life and potentially prevented additional physical problems :) Thanks for your letter Charley!
