Time for an update. Things are going good. The first cutting is all done and in the barn. Lots and lots of rain lately, Ill bet second cutting isnt far off this year. First cut, 1,300 bales. No kicker. All muscles. As you know, the complaint was filed on time and now the waiting begins again. I did the tracking to see when they got it. Thursday the 10th. Just as we did, they have 20 days to file an answer. We got a copy of the complaint Saturday and I have read and reread it several times. Im so completely impressed with our lawyer. I cant say it enough. Its several pages in length and the seller will have to answer to every one of the allegations and evidence included in the complaint. At this point a number of things could happen. He could offer to settle, he could just not answer, or we could go to arbitration. Time will tell. Times are hard this Summer with the unexpected barn floor fix, the annual expected check that Dans company yanked from their employees, along with the expense of the truck Dan has been trying to get on the road. Well, it is on the road and he drives it - I wont go into why he wont drive it to work. Hes using mine to get to work. I think he secretly just likes mine better :) We have been just living, Trying to stay positive. Doing things we can do that dont cost much. Yard work. A guy getting out of the farming business gave us some really rusty but useable goat fence so Dan and Morgan built a fence in a very weedy area so those little weed whackers will eat it down. While they were building fence and my truck was home, I worked on painting it. My Dodge makes a great canvas. Im sort of personalizing it. Im doing a little at a time. Again, I love that truck. Those of you who are on my personal page have probably read this story today. I wanted to share it with this page too. I was coming home from the store today and saw a miniature horse pulling a small red wagon with no passengers. He was happily trotting along up the road. I got well ahead of him and pulled into a drive way. He was an easy catch, what a sweet little guy! I started to walk him back down the hill and saw 2 little Amish boys in the distance. One was in the road walking towards me and the other was in a driveway and it sounded like he was crying. All were reunited and now I know the ponies name. Blaze The kids here just LOVE their minis and I absolutely love watching them have fun with their little horses! Ill post pics of my truck and the new goat fence. Hope youre all having the best summer ever! July is going way to fast!
