Time for another edition of Jims complaint corner - Ive seen on the news where the Christian community is complaining about the Noah movie, they say Hollywood is taking poetic license and not telling the story exactly as it was written in the bible. STOP IT! how many movies have you seen where it says based on a true story? Thats Hollywood taking poetic license, its rare that a movie will be exactly as the story goes. Heres the best example of poetic license, the book and movie of the Exorcist was based on a true case in the 1950s, it was boy who was possessed not a girl as it was portrayed in the book and movie. When was the last time Hollywood made a huge blockbuster movie off a story in the bible? I believe it was the 10 Commandments, Hollywood has finally made one thats taking the story seriously, isnt mocking christianity like they usually do and your complaining? Not only that you have one of the best actors on the planet playing Noah Russell Crowe, do you think hes gonna star in a movie thats not gonna do justice to the story? So take a deep breath and chill out for crying out loud, go see the movie and enjoy it instead of complaining about it. So end another edition of Jims complaint corner.
