Time for everybody to laugh at me! So, as some of you know I like to take long walks. As a lot of you know I am also single. In my fantasies I sometimes think of a young, beautiful girl stopping me on the street to talk to me. Shes interesting, were laughing, and the conversation is going well and running smoothly. Well, people, guess what happened today? A young and beautiful girl stopped me on the road. The conversation started with my dog, Chauncy, and then she started to talk about her friends, and we were laughing and talking in the sunlight. Then I got to a crosswalk, pressed the pedestrian crossing button, and we kept talking. In the middle of her sentence I noticed that my walking light was up. She noticed that I noticed, and so she said, Oh... do you have to go? I could have said, No. Of course not! Finish your story. I could have said, I can get the next one. I could have said, Quite honestly I have never been stopped by a pretty girl on the street before. I am in no rush to go anywhere, and flashed her a smile. Instead I said, and I quote, Yes. Must go. Good bye. ... *sigh* ... She looked at me, gave me an odd look, and said, Oh. Okay... ... And I walked away. ... I walked away! *sigh* I got half a block away and then I realized what just happened. Immediately the regret started to set in and I started to beat myself up for being such a socially awkward, moronic, introverted dumb ass. I hope my stupidity made you smile and laugh. :)
