Time for the fifth and last of five consecutive days of roller derby. Morning officials meeting. Then three challenge bouts. Then two Mens Roller Derby Association Sanctioned game. First up the NY Shock Exchange vs Portland Mens Derby; later, the St. Louis Gatekeepers vs Portland Mens Derby. Im staffed to manage the penalty box for all five. And then my RollerCon is over. Which is fine. After coming off the great crews on the Denver Roller Dolls/Rocky Mountain Rollergirls game and the Bay Area Derby Girls/Denver Roller Dolls game, I am kind of done. The final challenge bout I worked last night was one too many. Fatigue and frustration have overtaken the fun. But I have a year to decide if its all been worth it and whether I want to come back next year.
