Time for the heavy weights. They are not tall but they weigh approx. 1300lbs each. 12 and 14 yr olds Fjord mares, (NO PAPERS) It is written that they are a team, broke single and double. Have also been used as broodmares. They were sound when they went through auction but with 9hrs of trailering they came off the trailer stiff and sore. They have received minimal hoof care and their front hooves look like back hooves, not round. There is NO SIGN of founder. They are overweight ( there is a new one for me) These girls are just massive and only pony size. They look like dinosaurs with their spiked manes and low headset. I did ride one of them and other than I felt like a fly on her back it was like riding a slow moving rock (rocks dont move:) They do not seem to be broke to ride but training them to ride wont be an issue at all. They dont have a mean or athletic bone in their body. $1200 each. ALL info I have has been posted. Located in the Ottawa area.
