Time is the supreme illusion. It is nothing but the inner prism - TopicsExpress

Time is the supreme illusion. It is nothing but the inner prism through which we diffract being and life, the mode by which we perceive successively that which is simultaneous in the idea. The eye does not see a sphere all at once, although the sphere exists all at once; it is necessary either for the sphere to revolve before the eye that watches it, or for the eye to encircle the sphere. In the first case, the world revolves or seems to revolve in time; in the second case, our thought successively analyzes and recomposes it. For the supreme intelligence, time is not; what will be, is. Time and space are the breaking up of the infinite for the use of finite beings. Henri-Frédéric Amiel
