Time really does fly. Its hard to believe, but a year has already passed since Miles Scott captivated San Francisco and the entire country when he conquered crime on the city streets as Bat Kid. The Make a Wish Foundation event was off the charts and there was some criticism that it was all too much for just one child. I can understand the concern but, in the big picture, it misses the point. There was something magical and beautiful about an entire city coming together to make one boys day. In the process, we were all elevated and uplifted by a sense of innocence and goodness. It was a special and unforgettable day. So, what has happened in the year since?
