Time to catch up on my Thankfuls and what better day than Thanksgiving? I hope you are all enjoying some great food and company today. Dont forget to stop in tomorrow (10a - 10p) or Saturday (10a - 5p) to SAVE on a store full of great crafty items for yourself and/or loved ones! I am thankful for: 12 - my nieces, particularly proud of Amanda and the intelligent, determined and poised young woman she has become 13 - being godmother and Auntie to my surrogate nieces and nephew 14 - friendships I have that have spanned time and distance (Russ, Christy, & Mario) and ones that have forged throughout my life at different times and for different reasons 15 - not always judging a book by its cover. Sometimes the pages inside reveal a lot more heart than you realize from the outside packaging. 16 - the creativity I get to witness in others on a daily basis 17 - Show n Tell when people bring in their creations to show me 18 - a roof over my head, food in my belly, and someone to cuddle up to every night 19 - discovering old friends via Facebook that I fondly think of but havent been in contact with since our youth. 20 - Fern and her big heart. I thought she didnt like me when she first started coming to the store - I couldnt have been more wrong. 21 - Susan M. and her insight into our friends at Schoolhouse Commons 22 - the happiness I see when someone takes a class and makes something with their own hands 23 - the Daughters of Isabella (led by Carol DeSantis & all the hubbies who helped) for the wonderful meat pie meal at All Saints Church that was a fundraiser for Mary Lane Hospitals Oncology group 24 - getting to know ladies like Pat Donovan and Bertha Hines. Their class, sassy-ness, and lifetime of wisdom are priceless. 25 - for my siblings. We may have had our differences growing up and even now, but when push comes to shove I know they have my back and I have theirs. 26 - my customers (new and faithful) because without you (them) I wouldnt have been in business for the last 7 1/2 years 27 - Kate & her mom (& sisters) for joining the monthly Make n Takes with their wonderful bags, tags, boxes, toppers and more. Ive been the lucky recipient of them through the years and I am happy they are sharing their creativity with others. 28 - friends that I dont have to be in constant contact with, but it is like we talked yesterday when we finally get a chance to get together Im going to finish this list up early while Im on a roll. . . 29 - getting to know and become friends with Laura from Paper! Paper! Im sad we are losing another LSS, but appreciate the camaraderie and events we did together and wish her nothing but the best in her new ventures. 30 - A LOT of customers coming through Lifes Memories and More doors on Black Friday & Small Business Saturday
