Time to catch up with my real life. Nine loads of laundry, some vacuuming and steam-mopping, and ironing up 8 shirts or so ought to put us back on track for the coming week. Thank-you to my darling husband who has kept the kitchen clean and has been smoking chicken, ribs, brisket and sausage all week to keep us fed. If anyone reads this far: Im still looking for a job. Ive had a wonderful year of family-subsidized volunteer work, but its time for me to become a contributor to the operating budget around here again. If you hear of an opening that might be a match, let me know. Thanks! (Yes, Im already pursuing a lead or two, but nothing is set yet.)
