Time to every purpose Time is our most precious commodity. - TopicsExpress

Time to every purpose Time is our most precious commodity. Without time, our talents and treasures become irrelevant. Time becomes more and more relevant and precious as we run out of it. So how do I release my time to become Gods time when I seem to have no time? A little perspective will help. Generally speaking, we all are given the same amount of time. So the real issue is not whether I have enough time, but what I do with the time I have. Solomon wrote, To every thing there is a season . . . And a time to every purpose under heaven. What this is saying is there is a time for every work God has ordained for you and I to do. The reason it does not seem so is that we have co-opted His time as our time, doing things that are irrelevant and often contrary to Gods purposes. For this reason, Paul exhorts us to walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise. Redeeming the time. Time is the greatest gift that you and I can give, other than life itself. Time means life involvement, and the unfortunate commentary on American life is that the spirit of individualism has caused us to become isolated from one another, depriving us of time with one another. Consider this, time is an investment of ourselves. It reveals what, or who I value. Lets invest our time in people. Open your heart, and extend your hand with the gift of your time.
