Time to get my heart fixed!! Today I go in for a heart procedure (Cryoballoon Ablation -- for those interested). I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation last April and the condition has continued get worse over time. I am thankful for the surgeon & his team who will be doing their best today to try to fix things. I am thankful for all their training, and effort they have put into their careers to try to help people like me with this condition. This condition basically causes the heart to beat rapidly due to non-normal electrical signals in the top of the heart, taking the heart out of its normal rhythm. As I go into this, I am at peace. Although thankful for those attending to me today, my hope and rest is not in them, but rather it is in my Creator! I believe God sends times like these into our lives for us to realize, as I do today, that our spiritual hearts can become distracted from where he truly wants them to be... FIXED ON HIM!! I am thankful for lessons like and today it is my desire that the will of Jesus Christ be accomplished in my life and the lives of those I am connected with. May my spiritual heart be fixed on him!
