Time to let you in on a secret: The first African American class to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, known as the USNA Duzen, held their class reunion in Dallas the weekend of April 11th. That Saturday, they graced Thanks-Giving Square with their presence as they toured our Park, Chapel and Museum with W.T. White High School students who are involved in the ROTC program there. The tour was followed by a presentation in our Museum Hall, educating and inspiring the students to be fearless and to never give up on their dreams. This group of men have continued to do amazing things with their lives. It was a special day for all who attended including one of our very own, Patricia Rose.
