Time to play a round of What Did I Do Wrong? So I followed the directions to the best of my knowledge for my Counselor Troi Next Gen dress and when I attached the collar to the bodice.....it puckers out and distorts the top :( WTH? May need some advice Cheryl Keech, Rose Teathyme, Carol Gillis, Victoria Augusto, Hannah Lees Kent, Jamie Flener, Naomi Hormozi The directions had me make the bodice, fit it to be sure and then make the collar and attach it. The bodice seemed to fit fine until I added the collar (which had interfacing, is doubled over and has decorative lines sown across it...so its stiff). Once I sewed the collar on it started to pucker out (as shown here with back open and closed). Directions where this went bad are : Pin collar to bodice, right sides together, matching the right side front seam line on bodice to front seam on collar. Stitch together, pivoting at the right front seam line. Grade seam allowance. Clip pivot point Am I missing something important in these words? 0-o There is a sharp angle that I seem to be missing at that front right seam...seems to be the problem but I have exhausted my experience/knowledge ;)
