Time to start thinking about routes south of Bolivia...which is exciting. If the weather holds up *fingers crossed*, were planning on cycling to San Pedro de Atacama and then were not sure about going down in Chile or Argentina. What are peoples thoughts on this in terms of: 1) available routes, many cities or mainly rural? 2) road conditions (paved, unpaved? grading of roads? drivers bat shit crazy?) 3) terrain (flat? hilly? mountains - steep or gradual? 4) scenery and things to see? 5) cost (which is more expensive? how is camping in argentina vs chile?) 6) and most importantly....how is the food in argentina vs. chile?? haha 7) anything else of note that ive missed....
