Time to stop ego lifting ✋ Ive come to the realization that I need to completely reengineer my #squat. I got inspired watching others compare their #training vids over time so I put this together (#tbt?? Ha). Ive also been LOVING the insights from my #knee physical therapy for #patellofemoral pain in the post-fracture knee and IT band issues in the right. ⚠️ Dropped the weight significantly and worked a lot on form. So much so that I actually only deem 2 out of the 4 reps on the right to have been legit. On my list: ☑️ Keep elbows from flaring up (point straight down) ☑️ Avoid excessive lordosis in the back (strengthen core/erectors) ☑️ Engage gluteus medius (which my PT has determined is super weak relative to my strong maximus!!! ) ☑️ Bend at the hip first, not the knee ☑️ Maintain neutral neck while not looking down ☑️ Narrow my grip on the bar without irritating biceps tendonitis ☑️ Keep chest up... PHEW!
