Time to vent a bit... I really do not like it when people approach me and ask if I can give them products for free for parties, business meetings, weddings or whatever. Theyre payment to me is a post in their personal blog or to tag me on fb or twitter...thats not really a payment thats them getting away with free loot and me getting 3 extra hits on my website. I spend a lot of time marketing and I realize networking is a huge thing when it comes to building your brand...but I would never ask someone to give me free stuff. And if someone is nice enough to do something for me, I try very hard to do the same back for them. I make a living off of my art and giving stuff away for free isnt going to pay my bills. Neither is a blog post seen by 3 people. Running your own business is hard, networking is hard, marketing is hard...dont ask for free stuff. Thats the lazy way, work for it. Youll feel better in the end. Venting over...
