Time to vent once again. Got a bill in the mail for an eye exam that the va was to pay for as a workup for my new ms meds. I called the eye doctor then the fee base at altoona va hospital. Then my doctors office. Thought it was taking care of the morning. At 405 this evening my neroligist office calls to tell me the va has not approved anything. According to the fee base people. The nurse told the fee base people that she was looking at the authorization form. The fee base person said it must have been a mistake the lady who did it no longer works there. So I call the fee base in Altoona because at this point I am pissed. Talked to some guy he said he was new and put another lady on the phone. She told me there must have been a mistake and none of my test should have been covered and the va does not prescribe that medication. I told her the va has been sending it to me for months. I asked if her supervisor was there she said no but I could leave a message for her to call me I then wanted to talk to the person in charge of the hosbital. She said she could leave him a message also. So I told her you read my file you seen what all I went threw this year. Have your supervisor call me I want an appointment with the person in charge. I am filing a congessional and I am getting ahold of the news stations. She said I have to understand how the va works. I said I have been volunteering with service organizations for 6 years helping with claims and dealing with the medical side. So tomorrow is going to be a busy day
