Timi singing her big hit Whats A Matter Baby live at Gregs Blue Dot Bar in Hollywood in 1983. Timi had a huge gay following, and she loved the gay community! Gregs Blue Dot was a very popular gay bar in Hollywood in the early 80s. They were saluting some of the great female singers from the 50s and 60s, and heard Timi was in town and asked her to perform. The sound system was lousy, and they didnt have the technology back then to remove her voice from the original recordings, so she sang over the actual record! She sang four songs that night, and the guys went wild over her! Ive had a few people who were there email me over the years, and tell me how wonderful she was! She stayed for over two hours signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. She even went out and mingled with the guys afterwords. I will eventually post the entire show, but I just love what she says after singing this song and saying her thank yous......this sure does beat the hell out of making lasagna and scrubbin floors! That was so Timi!
