Timmins,Ontario. the city and their heart of gold ...Shania Twain tour site !!!! now being turned into something else ! Have you ever heard of Derek Edwards born in 58 in Timmins ,Ont .he attended high school at TH & VS and now lives in Toronto .he was on a talk show in Toronto for a while, i watched most of the episodes.he was on the Just for laughs comedy show five times ,he won best Comedy Award in 2004 . about eight ,ten years ago i met Derek Edwards in the Timmins Square .i was walking with my father and my fiancée at the time and glanced over to my left and noticed him ,we were walking in the same direction and almost as he turned to look towards me .i couldnt help to say it out loud enough with him hearing me.my father thought i was going nuts and my ex though i was going insane .lol..i told them out loud ,look its Derek Edwards and pointed towards him and he heard me a and began to walk towards me to shake my hand before he put his finger on his lip and said shhhhhh everybody will hear you and smiled at me and i shook his hand and laughed .he was with family i was sure .it was just sometime before Christmas .it was a very nice feeling meeting Derek Edwards and shaking a hilarious comedians hand such as his.the city of Timmins should have something in his recognition i think ! what do you think ! you can find him on you tube i am sure .or Google him ,check this guy out ... Derek Edwards deserves to be recognized in my books .the city of gold ! peace .
