Tinkers Desert Dusty, Dusty, is an 11 year old registered APHA mare. Dam is registered foundation quarter horse. Dusty is built like a quarter horse, has a wide chest, and stands 15 hands. She is friendly and enjoys attention. Easy to catch in the pasture. Stands for saddling, bridling, and mounting. She is capable of neck reining and moving off leg pressure when she is being ridden a little more regularly, though she doesnt have to be ridden all the time. She can and will back up, but its not a super pretty reverse like I would like. Smooth gaits but prefers to walk or trot when she can. She was hauled to horse shows and playdays several years ago and has been used to move cows between pastures, for many trail and pasture rides, and will go over obstacles. I have ridden her bareback with just a halter and lead rope over wooden bridges, logs, and weaving through cones. She has had one beautiful dun filly and was a great mother.
