Tip of the day. After struggling on my home lake yesterday and finally seeing sun after 8 days of cloudy weather I was stumped. Having trouble even locating fish in areas I have caught them for years. Fishing baits and colors that have always produced to no avail. Finally switching from a Pearl/Yellow Chartreuse bait to a Pearl/Green Chartreuse bait the action picked up fishing the same water. You would never think just a small color variation would save you from a forgettable trip to being a successful one. A lot of short strikes until I found the color they wanted. So never be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and switch up to become successful. That goes along with baits, jig weights, depth, area of lake, and techniques. Tight Lines
