Tip of the day. Did you know that the basic ingredients for a meatloaf are: Meat ( ground beef, chuck, duck, turkey, pork, lamb, .....etc) Egg (1 per lb of meat) Wet (ketchup, mayo, dressing, salsa, hot sauce, ....etc ) Dry (bread crumbs, crackers, oatmeal, grits, panko, ground rice....etc) Depending on what style you choose to make will determine what spices to add to flavor it. Mexican Style? Add ground beef and chorizo, salsa, and ground rice. Use YIAH Casa Mexicana Spice blend or Chipotle Adobe Mexicana Spice blend or YIAH Salsa Dip Mix (or combo of them). Top with grated anejo or chihuahua cheese. Asian Style? Add 1/2 lb each ground beef and pork, with soy sauce and hoisin sauce and Panko. Use YIAH Asian EVOO and YIAH Wasabi Chive Dip Mix or Dukkah and/or YIAH Asian Inspired Dukkah. Top with ketchup drizzle. Indian Style? Add ground chicken or turkey, with Sriracha sauce and breadcrumbs soaked in milk. Use YIAH Bay of Bengal Curry Dip Mix, YIAH Madras Curry Spice blend or YIAH Tandoori Spice blend.
