Tips for dealing with tear gas / pepper spray: EYES: Proactive: carry eye drops and/or water. Wear gloves if possible. After your eyes are burning: You need to get liquid right INto the eyes. Fight against the pain to open them up for a second so you can recover. Tilt your head WAY WAY back to get your face HORIZONTAL with the sky. Bend your head back as far as possible and drip in the eye drops or water. Accuracy means way more than quantity. Itll hurt. But then it wont. Which is the point. Lastly: - Do not put milk in your eyes (saw plenty of people doing that) unless you really want an eye infection. - If you did not wear gloves: DO NOT touch your eyes. Use tissue or a cloth that was not exposed to the air. You will need to wash your hands thoroughly 3x before you can touch your eyes. - For men: If you go pee, Ill just say this: ohhhh its going to burn down there. Use tissue, put on a glove, or wash your hands 3x thoroughly. SKIN: Your skin will feel like its burning. Water wont help much. You need to rub off the stuff from the exposed skin. Use tissue or an unexposed towel. Milk helps. Do not touch that skin and then your eyes.
