Tips for starting a YouTube Channel: (I receive this question often and so this would be MY advice to you) The success of your channel will come from: Content, Collaborations, Consistency, Passion, Promotion & Partnership. There does not exist a set payout when it comes to YouTube money. I will say, do not get into YouTube for the money because you will quit well before you even start. You MUST first LOVE what you film on a (daily/weekly) basis and be able to retain an audience. Your videos should progressively excel and the interaction with your subscribers needs to be consistent across your social media. YouTube alone is often not enough to help promote both your channel and of course building your brand; be sure to research the various partners and sign with the BEST fit for you and your channel. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine, etc. they also help with promoting your videos through YOU and your subscribers, as each video is shared. Collaborations can also help build your audience. Their subscribers might take an interest in what your channel has to offer as your subscribers might take a look at their channel as well. DO NOT look to become any other YouTube Personality other than who YOU are! (One success story does not mean YOUR success story.) Dare to be EXTREMELY different or people will lose interest! You will need a thick skin to ignore the comments that will blast your page in a negative light, do not bother with a response. !!! Your success story is the ULTIMATE response !!! ~ ( TRUST ME ) ~ These are simply MY opinions from what I have learned over the years on YouTube, hopefully it helps on your journey and do not forget to bring PATIENCE with you my friends. The magic rarely happens overnight ;-)
