Tips to help you flex in your city. 1. Use a wall. Start with one indoors to build muscle memory and confidence in muscular support. 2. Start getting familiar with taking weight through the crown of the head with the support of the wall when you release one or two legs- up the wall. Think practicing a headstand against the wall. 3. Think about the placement of hands. I actually have them a touch wider than my shoulders to enable a more confident spread of body weight. 4. Once comfortable and confident of taking weight through the crown of head and balanced weight through hands, start to think of playing around with alternative contact points between your body And the ground. Here you can see me taking the weight through my left forearm and keeping my right hand planted down. I also release my head off ground which means my core has to fire slightly deeper. These are all embellishments though. First things first get familiar and comfortable with the basics and foundation of legs up the wall and weight through crown of head and through palms of hands. Always always think about waistcoat of core support too! 5. There are also lots of cool isometric and bodyweight conditioning exercises that will support your #flex_inthe_city .
