Tired of the heat, fellow Midwesterners? Well all be missing it this winter, apparently. This model fits several forecasts Ive seen. The rain returns in late September/early October along with an early- season frost. A colder air mass predominates November with snowfall by Thanksgiving. December starts mild, but shifts to bitter cold with ice/snow at the end of the month. January and February 2015 brings record-breaking cold with heavy snow/ice accumulation. Early March gives us a break from the bitter cold, only to have cold, wet weather towards the end of the month into early April. Thunderstorms predominate late April with a late spring frost in May preceding another summer of extraordinary heat and drought in 2015. This fits a 60% likely climate model from NOAA, the Saros forecast, and the astrological weather forecast. Sorry I havent better news to report.
