Tisha BAv 5774- A day of mourning to commemorate the destruction of the first and second Temples, and the many tragedies that have befallen the Jewish people. SAR Academys Names Not Numbers Production will be shown at the Riverdale Jewish Center tomorrow at 2:15 pm. All are welcome to attend. This film is a rare glimpse into an inspiring and inter-generational oral history project by a group of SAR Academy eighth graders who came face to face with Holocaust Survivors and made an emotional connection to our Jewish history. We are proud of those students who worked so hard on the creation of this most meaningful film and we thank our Holocaust Survivors who participated in the program, allowed our students to interview them and to record their stories. A special Hakarat Hatov to Mrs. Stefa Hasson and Mrs. Tova Fish-Rosenberg for helping our students create and coordinate the program.
