"Titian" the seal pup who, due to the help of many, was rescued as a new born in Port Alice and is now thriving in the Rescue Centre. Thanks to ALL who enabled the rescue of this pup - Jeune Landing Dryland Sort crew (Brad, Tabby and Lee-Ann); Port Hardy Veterinarian Clinic, Pacific Coastal for the flight and the chauffeurs / escorts Jess Fargher and Carmen Pendleton. Note that most seal pups do NOT need rescuing since their mothers do leave them for a time to go feed and to interfere would impair their chance of survival. However, in this case, those at the Dryland Sort monitored for a full work day and were able to confirm that the mother had not returned.
