Constantly seeking new sounds, since his early youth, this artist enjoys shifting his styles and blending genres. At the sound systems school Aldo Guizmo earned his spurs in sound systems and in various shows where he learned about performing arts. But his career really began in 2001, following the release of the first album by the group No Clan, which came from hi neighbourhood. Thanks to them, he had his first pieces to prove his vocal skills. In 2005, he set up his studio (G.N.One Studio), in partnership with Judgment Production, and brought out his first opus in 2006, with various emerging artists, under the title G.N.One Shmulffance. The following year, he encountered Kny Factory, which gave him the opportunity to experiment with new ways. In 2008, this led to a reggae roots compilation, Improvisation Roots. There followed various recordings and compilations, the best way to find his artistic voice. In 2010, he created his label Speak The Truth Production. In May 2011, he finally recorded the first Street Album, followed by the official clip of the piece Son La Ki Petant. In 2012, seeking musical enhancement and discovery, Aldo Guizmo decided to turn to a more acoustic style and introduced the ka, a drum from the French Caribbean. Eager to maintain his roots, he brought in percussions, with a sound system ambiance, making his shows livelier and interactive. The same year, he collaborated in stage performances by the group Madin’Free-K. Fr Aldo Guizmo est un jeune artiste guadeloupéen mêlant reggae, dance hall et musiques créoles, pour créer un style unique imaginé ces dernières années par ce musicien touche-à-tout. Toujours à la recherche de nouveaux sons, depuis sa prime jeunesse, cet artiste s’amuse à varier les styles, à mélanger les genres. À l’école des sound systems Aldo Guizmo fait ses armes dans les sound systems et dans divers spectacles où il apprend l’art de la scène. Mais sa carrière débute vraiment en 2001, suite à la sortie du premier album du groupe No Clan, groupe issu de son quartier. Grâce à eux, il dispose des premiers morceaux où prouver ses compétences vocales. En 2005, il monte son studio (G.N.One Studio), en partenariat avec Judgment Production, et sort un premier opus en 2006 avec de nombreux artistes émergents, sous le titre G.N.One Shmulffance. L’année suivante, il fait la rencontre de Kny Factory qui lui donne l’opportunité d’expérimenter des voies nouvelles. En 2008, de cette collaboration sort une compilation reggae roots Improvisation Roots. Il enchaîne ensuite avec divers enregistrements et compilations, le meilleur moyen de trouver sa voie artistique. En 2010, il crée son label Speak The Truth Production. En 2012, en quête d’amélioration et de découvertes musicales, Aldo Guizmo décide de se pencher sur un style plus acoustique pour y introduire le ka, tambour originaire des Antilles françaises. Soucieux de conserver ses racines, il associe alors des percussions à l’ambiance sound system, une association qui rend ses spectacles vivants et interactifs.
