Join us and start doing your lifes best work.(sm)Positions in this function design and coordinate provider and member directed communications, as well as internal organization and client directed communications.This position will be responsible for communicating any Medical Policy updates on a monthly basis. They will need to be able tointerpret the changes made to policies and document in such a way that the end users will be able to understand what is different or new. Thisposition requires a lot of flexibility and the ability to multitask.Positionsin this function design and coordinate company communications, including internal and/or external communications. Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures and monitoring company media, which may include company websites. May manage public relations activities, including public information and shareholder information services.Primary Responsibilities:* Developing communication * Collaborating with stakeholders * Obtaining appropriate approvals for distribution * Determining distribution channels * Overseeing production and final distribution of materials * Implementing policies and procedures on development, approval and distribution of materials * Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed * Works with less structured, more complex issues * Serves as a resource to others * Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed. * Works with less structured, more complex issues. * Serves as a resource to others.Qualifications:Requirements:* High School Diploma/GED * 3 years experience writing business required documentation perferably Medical policies * Intermediate level of skill with MS Word - Formatting text, within paragraphs and lists. Create tables, templates, themes and create documents using pictures, shapes & art. * Excellent business writing skills/ability to write clearly for a diverse audience.Assets: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present information in to large audiences * Able to work with minimal supervision. * Ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively among multiple activities. * Heathcare experience within Medicare or Medicaid or both.Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
