Title: You are Wonderfully Made Are you the best you that you can be? There are times that we see our selves as less than we should. There are times that we see ourselves as more than we should. Self Image and Self esteem are dangerous critters as they are so often dictated by life experiences and by what others think of us. If you believe Gods word, then I encourage you to believe what He says about you. The only way you can be the best you, is to open up your Bible and allow His mirror to reflect the true you. Mm, come to think of it, the Bible is the only mirror that I know of that utilizes light radiated from within the mirror instead of in front of the mirror. In other words, if you place a mirror on the Bible, the light behind and around you would not be creating a true reflection of who you are; its only the light radiating from the Word of God; up and through the mirror that produces the true image of you. If you think thats cool, then check this out... According to His Mirror (Word), if you will totally expose your face and look into His Word with a true desire to see your God created self, your image will slowly and surely be transformed into Jesus. Pretty cool right? Lets see this in scripture: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass [mirror] the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Thats the way the the Father sees you... As He sees Jesus. You are fearfully and wonderfully designed. Dont let others dictate who you are; people may tear you down and make you feel worthless and non deserving of happiness; on the flip side, people may idolize you, thereby producing in you a sense of pride and entitlement. This may sound a little harsh, but the Bible says in Matthew 7... 6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces. You see, you are Gods and Gods alone... Others cannot dictate your worth. Dont give others who do not understand your worth the opportunity to critique your design. You are the best you that you can be when you look into the perfect mirror, who is Jesus Christ, the Living Word of God!
