Smith Sermon Outline: - Grace will have you learning for living v.12 - Grace will have you looking for the Lord v.13 - Grace will have you loosed for laboring v. 14 Grace should have us: - Denying what He detests - Vying for what He values - Pursuing what pleases Him Grace provides: - Provision for my past - Promises for my present - Prospect for a beautiful, bright future Sermon Notes: - We should be careful to maintain good works because the world is watching and could be basing a decision for Christ on what they see. - We need to watch what comes out of our mouth - what were teaching especially to our children. - There should be a distinction between our interaction with one another (as Christians). - Our behavior is the proper response to the grace of God. - God has given us grace to learn His standard of living for our life. If you want to live a successful life, you must know the standard (in Gods word). - Jesus Christ has released us from the bondage of sin so that we may labor for Him. - Grace was demonstrated through Christs death on the cross.
