Titus severe Sound System Disorder adversely impacts his ability to communicate effectively in his environment because he has been judged to be unintelligible to most people. he speaks in 3-4 word sentences, but is very difficult to understand and determine if he is using correct syntax. (what the hell is a syntax?) he does not use ending sounds on words, therefore does not demonstrate and understanding of words with inflectional markers. (speech therapy for a year an hour a week. allisa did 30 minutes a week, and wasnt even there for a year. and she was way worse than titus) leaving the student in regular education classroom was refected due to the need for specific speech therapy. the nature and severity of the childs disability (cannot be sole factor considered). The Articulation Severity Rating Scale ranked Titus in the very severe range.
