To ALL I didnt reach: 2014 It’s been one hell of a year. Like most years, it brought a few sugarplums…and a few lumps of coal. The year began with fellowship on New Years Day at the home of Denise and Earl Billings, always a great kick-off. Rocky, Ty and Brent. I did not break 80 this year…but I did get to play some wonderful golf. One highlight was my first road trip to Mexico, down to beautiful Baja. My work in THE SUNSET LIMITED in 2013 received the Santa Barbara INDEPENDENT Award. I was later nominated for The Ovation Award for the same production, also very flattering. My advocacy efforts for PTSD treatment continues, serving on the board of THE SOLDIERS PROJECT. thesoldiersproject.org/ Two memorable film experiences this year, PIXELS in Toronto… And EMBERS, filmed in upstate New York, with a wonderful young actor, Silvan Friedman. Work was infrequent in 2014, probably a good thing since I remain incredibly busy...but there was an appearance on MODERN FAMILY. Sadly my time with The Redhead came to an end. Traffic in LA has just gotten too absurd. Hope the new owner is enjoying this very special ride. The lumps of coal included contending with skin cancer, left shoulder surgery, gout and a series of TIA, small strokes. I am recovering from all and was grateful for the support of my family and friends. Carl came to care for me, which was wonderfully generous…and BB continues to bolster my spirits.
