To ALL: This is part 2 of a 3 part notification, again to a series of facebook sites to reach as many folks as possible. Listed are the names of those fellow firefighters who served in either DoD military or civilian capacities during their lives. The list is as only comprehensive as reported. In assessing the list I was disappointed that we as a community have failed to honor our history and those that served before us. Of the 240+/- names 72 were line of duty deaths and are formally honored with their names on the wall at the National Fire Academy and or at Goodfellow. Currently there are only 9** (let me repeat only 9) paving stones honoring individuals zwe have lost over the past few years. This is somewhat disheartening. Thus - we have lost nearly 150 comrades and their past goes unrecognized. Chronological Final Alarm of US Air Force Firefighters As of: 25 January 2015 ** Yellow Highlighted Names have Memorial Paving Stones at Goodfellow Bolded Names are on the Wall as Line of Duty Deaths (LODD) at Emittsburg 2015 Assistant Chief Fire Prevention Charles L.
