To ALL, it is important to understand that "what I teach" will likely become CODE in 3-5 years. Spiral ductwork will dominate in 3-5 years because of low leakage requirements. In 10 years, LEED and ASHRAE will require modeling of ductwork systems to find weak points of design and to maximize the minimum FAN BHp. The VariTrane Duct Designer Program does this job very well and I call this OPTIMIZED SPIRAL using the whole TSP equation. TRANE has a huge leverage position in VAV and System Design. More than a dozen Strategic Partners have seen my seminar and have learned to use the VariTrane Duct Designer Program. There are at least 50 more I need to get to. For the next 12 months I will continue to focus on Strategic Partners before the flood of code changes causes what I believe will be a national demand for the VariTrane Duct Designer Program.
