To ARTIST: You should have regular updated self-portraits readily available for dispersal at any given time, and should be at the highest quality and resolution. it is easier to DOWN-RES, than to UP-RES an image. Self-Portrait Means; an image of YOU the Artist and ONLY you. Do not present images with your work and other persons included, images of you in a garden or selfies with low res cameras, for publication. Images of you with your work, are for newspaper coverage, which would be shot by the news paper. It should NOT be in your Portfolio as a self-portrait. It should be in section on PUBLICATIONS, PRESS and NEWSPAPER Clippings. Also, do not send us images already used in other Publication, That image is the OWNERSHIP of the Publication, given that a representative from the publication took that image. We do not want PRESS IMAGES! Any images sent to LLTAMCI, should be OWNED Primarily by The Artist or in conjunction with their Photographer. All Self-Portraits should have clean neutral backgrounds. If you have created a self-portrait using your medium, that image is acceptable. However, done by another Artist, his permission is required even if it was a commission, unless otherwise an agreement was made to relinquish all ownership. What remains is the Authorship, as in a Photographer, who did the work FREE of cost . If the Photographer is not an art-photographer, but a commercial studio and he was paid for his work, you are free from obligations.
