To All Atheists, If I may? :-) 1. The purpose of most ABRAHAMIC religions is to prove the existance of god And then Command obedience to that all powerful entity. 2. Hinduism does seek an answer but does mot get hyper or insistent about a conclusion. In fact : a) The Riigveda Says : There is only one god. Paths to it are many. b) Hinduism uses a method called PURVAPAKSHA. Purvapaksha= listen attentively to your opponents argument. It will add to your knowledge base. Thus in hinduism we have the freedom and the encouragement to explore different thoughts n ideas . Why? So that we can find the ultimate truth...some may term it GOD. 3. THUS Hinduism uses open dialogue, stories , symbols and rituals to discuss n reach the truth.. 4. Hinduism is OK with the concept of NIRGUN. I.e formless - whom some choose to worship. 5. Now tell me : Which other religion approaches the basic questions of life so generously and beautifully and with so much respct for the process to seek knowledge other than HINDUISM. I love hinduism becoz it teaches mutual respect in our collective quest.. Hinduism IS reason. :-)
