To: All Brentwood Band Families - current, alumni and friends: Last fall, the old band tower at Brentwood High School was demolished and a new tower is in the works. It will be a 28 foot open steel frame structure with a cantilevered viewing deck. This new tower will serve the needs of the marching band for many years to come and will be a fitting compliment to the new performing arts center that is underway. The tower needs to be ordered by the end of April in order to have it installed before band camp. No funds will come from the school system, so we are reaching out to the alumni, families and friends of the band for your help in funding this major purchase. The Brentwood Band Boosters are selling tiles and bricks that will be placed around the base of the tower and along a path leading to the tower. The first 64 contributions of $1,000 or more: a 12” by 12” tile will be placed at the base of the tower. Can be engraved like the picture to recognize students with graduation year, or individual donor, or company name, as “Platinum Patrons.” Platinum contributors will also be included on a special plaque of appreciation that will be displayed in the band room. Gold Patrons, contributing $250 or more, will have a 12” by 12“ tile along the path leading to the tower, engraved similarly to the Platinum. Silver Patrons, contributing $125 or more, will have a 4” by 8” brick along the path that can be engraved with your name and a date (if desired) as well. To make your contribution simply do one of the following: 1-Email [email protected] and provide your name, the level at which you wish to contribute and a telephone number for us to contact you. 2-Write to: “Tower Fund”, c/o Brentwood Band Boosters, Brentwood High School, 5304 Murray Lane, Brentwood, TN 37027, and either include your check payable to BHS Band Boosters or provide the same information as above, or 3- Call: 760-419-8263 and ask to speak to Robert, who will take the information over the telephone. If you receive a voice message just leave a call back number and he will contact you. Please tag or forward this information to other alumni, families, or friends of the band that may not be seeing it already. Help us spread the word about this special effort. We are excited about this opportunity to recognize our past and present students and sponsors along the path to the new band tower. Any funds that exceed the tower cost will be put into a capital improvement fund for future use. These tax free contributions will help ensure that we are able to continue to provide the kind of experiences Brentwood band students have had for many, many years.
