To: All Media Houses From: Zesco United Football Club 2nd January, 2015 REF: New Players and Provisional list For Champions League Zesco United Football Club is happy to announce that a number of players have been acquired in order to reinforce the team that won the 2014 FAZ/MTN league and Barclay’s cup as the team is set to participate in the 2015 CAF Champion’s league. Two local players namely Misheck Chaila from Kabwe Warriors and Humphrey Maseneko from Konkola Blades have joined the club on permanent transfers. The club has also acquired Nigerian Ayo Ouluwafemi, 26, Left back Defender a Free Agent formerly of University of Pretoria, David Odhiambo, 26 Central Defender from Gor Mahia Kenya, Jonas Sakuwaha,28 Striker from TP Mazembe, Democratic Republic of Congo and 22 year old Striker Christopher Chigozie from Bayelsa United, Nigeria. Further the Club wishes to announce that Innocent Mwaba has been recalled from a Two year Loan at Ferroviarro De Maputo in Mozambique, Kondwani Mtonga has returned from a six month Loan at North East Club in India. The club has since opened talks with Mamelodi Sundown’s to extend Togolese Mathias Emmanuel’s Loan deal. Gift Sakuwaha and Kangwa Chileshe have requested to be given chance to look for clubs that will enable them gain game time, Zimiseleni Moyo’s has decided not to renew his contract and has since gone back to Zimbabwe after spending five years at the club.
