To: All Royals Fans PLEASE Read... Being a lifelong Giants fan, I wanted to comment on this World Series. I grew up (from age 12) with a brother who was an executive with the San Francisco Giants. I have been (since age 12) in and out of MANY major league clubhouses and dugouts. I am now an entertainer and part owner of a radio station. I cover Major League Baseball for the radio station during the season and cover most teams. In my MANY MANY years around Major League Baseball, I have met MANY players, managers, coaches and have got to know several of them personally. I have known Bruce Bochy since I was 14 years old and we remain close to this day, Madison Bumgarner and I also have a good friendship. I have known teams and players with class and I have seen teams and players with NO CLASS… That brings us to the Kansas City Royals…In ALL of my years in and around Major League Baseball, I can truly say that the 2014 Kansas City Royals were the team with the most class of ANY team I have EVER seen! They carried themselves with pride and drive until the very last pitch…They NEVER gave up and EVERY player put their entire heart into EVERY single play! I believe that a great deal of their success comes from the support that they get from their fans! I have seen MANY team’s fans in MANY different ballparks BUT, I have yet to see fans as GREAT as the Kansas City Royals fans!!! The thing about Royal fans is that they LOVE their Royals but also, they do it with class. They win with their heads up and they lose with their heads up and that is a task that so few fans do with the style as Royals fans do. Let me say this… I had confidence in the Giants beating ANY team in the World Series EXCEPT for the Royals. I was ready for Baltimore, Detroit or the LA Angels BUT, was not very happy about facing the Royals! The Royals are one hell of a good team and I KNOW that they will be around for a LONG LONG time! I look for the Royals to have MANY winning seasons in the coming years and can only feel blessed that Giants were able to play a team as great as the Kansas City Royals. Oh, one last thing…I have heard people being critical of Ned Yost. Well I can tell those critical people that if Bruce Bochy ever leaves the Giants, it would be an HONOR to have someone of Ned’s caliber step in and manage the Giants, he is a GREAT baseball manager!!! GREAT YEAR ROYALS, YOU WILL BE BACK!!!
