To Aprilia: I Hope you continue the production of the Mana (I heard that it is being discontinued) and perhaps produce a Mana 1200. Not enough people are aware of its performance, convenience (work and off) and capabilities. The following was my response to motorcycle review of the Mana up against the Honda NC 700 and a BMW Scooter. (They are full of it): The reviews on the Mana are totally bias (it is an amazing bike). Speak for yourself (I learned on a Honda 50 as a 9 year old kid) This bike is my first automatic/full sport gear shifting, after riding regular clutch bikes for many decades (dirt and street, from Honda cr 250, xr 600, cb 750’s, Honda hank, Harley’, etc. I commute on average about 800 miles to one thousand per week, and what sold me on the Mana (and more storage) it was exactly the choice of auto mode when cutting (split lanes) traffic on the rough streets of Los Angeles tight (not a lot of room to squeeze through) traffic. Because when just being able to squeeze in between larger vehicles while ducking mirrors, the auto mode is much better than clutch (able to ride at 2 to 5 miles per hour without constantly stopping to avoid riding the clutch). I have a large case on the rear and two soft gear bags on the sides verses hard cases which are wider, therefore making it much more difficult to cut traffic. Canyon riding: This bike is more than I originally expected. The only thing that I which is for the side stand to have more clearance, because I constantly scrape the stand riding at 60 miles per hour on a 15 mile per hour tight turn. Other than that this bike handles like a sport bike, yet being a cross of sport touring it is a comfortable ride; and extremely agile and fast on the freeway. Get about 53 miles per gallon on auto touring mode(it also always downshifts manually if chosen), and about 40 miles per gallon on sport gear mode (shifting like a clutch) People that receive kickbacks from manufactures are in conflict of interest, which creates a unfair unjust review. People that trash talk others (the comments about riding automatic), are nothing short than unsecured, unexperienced riders (a real rider is humble and courteous to all). This bike is extremely quick through canyons. Ride it hard in the canyons on sport gear, and you will see what this bike can really do (amazing performance).
