To Be Salty: It is my wish and the wish for all of us to be salty. To be salty is to be what causes others to thirst after the things of God. Salt makes us thirsty, it makes us want to take a drink, so lets take a big drink of the living water that Jesus offers. And when we are out in the world because of our saltiness, that it is causing others to desire to drink from the same fountain. Are we living so that it is causing a hunger in others, and a thirst that can never seem to be quenched. Lets cause others to hunger and thirst after what we have been given, joy , peace, and freedom in Christ. To have a life that empowers them to live a victorious life. The world is hungry, lets add a little flavor to the world by our saltiness. That it would taste good to them, what we have to offer. Let the world taste and see that the Lord is good. Many are seeking the answer to their problems, they have tried many things to deaden the pain, and empty feelings they have. We have what they need, we need to help them find the answer. We have the hope they need, it is inside us, Jesus is in us, the hope of glory. So get out there today, in your workplace, at school, in your neighborhood, wherever you go and season someones life with the salt you have. I am reminded everyday how much the world needs Jesus, You do not have to look very far to see that there is a lost and dying world. Its up to us to show them Jesus, so offer your saltiness to someone today. You have what others need, you have the spice of life right inside you, so us it, flavor the world around you with Jesus. And cause those around you to take a big gulp of the living water that Jesus offers to quench their thirst for good. Jesus is coming soon, we need to be ready and take as many as we can with us. [Revelation 22:17 The Spirit and the bride say, Come! And let him who hears say Come! Whoever is thirsty. let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.] If we bring out into the world our saltines they will want to come to drink from the water of life, from the fountain that they will never thirst again. Lets get out there and make the world thirsty for the living water, AMEN !
