To Changeadogslife 8:21pm Oct 6 Why are we failing Starlight? This seven-month-old puppy is back on the list again, with no interest so far... :( The words "epic fail" must certainly apply to any shelter that cannot find a new home for an adorable seven-month-old puppy like Starlight. And in New York City, no less! One of the most powerful, prosperous and populated cities in the world, yet the ACC was stumped when it came time to get Starlight safely adopted. Chances are good that they never even tried. They merely sucked this friendly little imp into their system, gave her the usual name-number-medical exam, and then warehoused her in a cage. No one has come for Starlight, probably because so few people knew she was at Brooklyn Center, and tonight she has been placed on the euth list. Her Urgent family must now do what the ACC either could not, or would not, do. Please advocate far and wide for Starlight tonight, and make sure she has a home waiting for her when she opens her eyes tomorrow morning. https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=681287518550797&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=3&theater TO BE DESTROYED - MONDAY - 10/07/13 TO BE DESTROYED 10/7/13 Brooklyn Center - P My name is STARLIGHT.
