It hadnt been an easy day, anyway; winters grey fist had lately been choking all the good cheer from our hearts and now, all of our heads were about to explode. For my part, the life-load of great failures had become especially heavy to bear so far into life, I admit. Health had been generally on the decline and the hope of some sort of gentle redemption was no longer in the wind, and hadnt been for a very long time. Still, were obliged to do what we can.
