To: G&M Letters Editor Re: Two radical grandstanders, October 8. I often wonder if the popular columnist, Margaret Wente is feigning ignorance to make connection with the many readers who are wrongly supposed to not know what goes on in the wider world of human rights and state politics ? Tarek Loubani and John Greyson don’t fit the bill of being “two radical grandstanders.” The work they have done in the health and cultural fields deservedly gained them the support of some 200,000 citizens, along with journalists here and abroad stimulating our own government to help get them out of Egypt. A ‘radical grandstander’ I suggest is someone more like Ezra Levant whose inaccurate facts, vitriol, and ideological panic appears to form the basis of much of Ms. Wente’s offensive column.
