To God be all the glory. ----------------------------- Senator Gilbert Emeka Nnaji has been elected as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senatorial Candidate for Enugu East Senatorial District in the National Assembly Primary held in Enugu Sunday. The primary was witnessed by the Senator Manzo led PDP National Assembly election panel, representative of INEC and the Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu, who is the sole candidate for Enugu West senatorial zone among other top PDP chieftains in the state. The primary election was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere as the delegates cast their votes in an orderly manner. Returning Officer for the election, Mr. Ugulu O. Ugulu, after the exercise, announced that Senator Nnaji, a first-term senator winner with 231 votes out of the 247 accredited votes.
