Bible Verse In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. Reading Notes God promises He is near when troubles comes. He is with us always and He will answer us in times of trouble. God loves His children and as joint-heirs with Christ we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit who does a work of sanctification within our hearts and minds to helps us grow in Christ as we walk with the Lord. His work of sanctification changes us from the inside out as we become more sensitive to the things of God and grow in His word. Therefore when trouble comes God is right there with us, to strengthen us, guide us and comfort us through the trial at hand. And when we call on Him, He is faithful to answer. Times of trial come upon us for many reasons, because of the fallen world we live in which brings with it disease and death, because of our sins and the sin of others; but no matter what the world brings God can use those circumstances to strengthen us and others as we trust in Him alone.
